I blog about it every Sunday on my special posts.Not only blogging but it has been well known and documented that the Boston Globe has been losing $$ to the tune of $1 million a week.
In the Boston Herald a paper that liberals call the Boston tabloid one which I read everyday has a story about the layoffs at the Boston Globe owned by the New York Times Company.Well the new story coming out of this unhappy left wing marriage between the NYT/Boston Globe is that the NYT came out and said to the Globe that if they don't come up with over $20 million in savings over the next 30 days they will get rid of the rag the Boston Globe altogether.Also in the Herald story refering to the Globe layoffs it mentions that the Globe layed off over 50 editorial positions at the paper.What tells me that I have said all along that even though this is a Bluest of the Blue States Massachusetts has alot of readers of newspapers that don't necessarily agree with the hack Boston Globe's Socialist left wing liberal political views and agendas.
As in any area of business there needs to be competition it's the heart and soul of American capitalism that including the newspaper business.I don't like to see anyone layed off from thier respective jobs but the Boston Globe and their parent company the NYT need to see the light or they both will be going under and soon if they are not careful.

Now that President Barack HUSSEIN Obama has control of most of the Automoblie industry just this past week by taking over General Motors now the Big Government wants the Tobacco in it's back pocket.
Not that I am a big fan of smoking healthwise it is not the greatest choice one could make for a lifestyle but as Amercians we should have the right to smoke if one wants to.
Just yesterday the U.S.House passed a bill would give Uncle Sam almost total control (a liberals/Communists favorite word CONTROL) of the tobacco industry for the very first time.It passed with a vote of 298-112 wouldn't give the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the authority (not just yet anyway) outright to ban cigarettes but is going to let the agency to regulate (another liberal fav REGULATE) the contents of what is in tobacco products and strengthen its control of marketing cigarettes etc.
This is how Communism came to power in most other countries the people giving in to more and more Government control of ones lives and before you know it bang Communism is here.
The U.S. Senate is to come up soon with its own socialist version of the tobacco bill to be taken up by our very own Communist the Liberal lion U.S.Sen.Edward M.Kennedy (D-Ma) to be its main sponsor.
If I am not mistaken the U.S. Supreme Court ruled years ago on this that the Federal Government or any branch on agency of the Government could not or didnot have authority when it comes to tobacco.It's funyy the left only invokes a Supreme Court decision when it favors their crazy whacked out agendas but when its is against them like this tobacco situation they have to move against it.I would be willing to bet that the President supports the decision to take it over I mean regualate it.Now Barack can be the Marlboro Man along with being Mr.Good Wrench.

Just yesterday on his show on PMSNBC Hardball with Chris Matthews the host Chris Matthews was still at it again but this time he didn't say that he had a chill going up his leg when refering to the President Barack HUSSEIN Obama leaving with the First family boarding Marine One he was bascially kissing his butt as he did during the election with the chill comment and they call this JOURNALISM.
This is just a joke Matthews along with his left wing ass kisser also at PMSNBC Keith Olbermann should both be on the chic network Lifetime or even on the Comedy Channel.I think even on those stations that I just mentioned they would still flop and fail.
Liberals like Matthews and Olbermann can gloat all they want their candidate that they helped push over the top on election night last November won by brain washing the American people.But 2010 is just around the corner meaning the first midterm elections for this Hack filled left wing Administration who can't speak correctly with out a teleprompter.
As far as I am concerned Obama can take his so called Harvard Law degree and go back to his Communist mentor Saul Illinsky and go and do all the community disorganizing he wants.Hope and Change my ass.

Well now he's taking the Obama tour to the European continent to embarass our nation abroad as our Newly elected President.Our allies it seems that they don't want to hear about our form of Socialism that President Barack HUSSEIN Obama used to allegedly stimulate our falling economy even further especially the G-20 nations that is.
German Chancellor Angela Merckell and the President of France Nicholas Sarkozy I am sure are not looking forward to the so called American version of Hope and Change that we Amercians were duped into believing but thank God not all Amercians that is only the dumb ass liberal left wingers that is.
Today the President was to meet with her highness the Queen of England Queen Elizabeth one can only hope that President Obama doesnot make himself look like a total ass but who knows with the liberal media in tow who knows and Who cares.

I hear it all the time when it comes to education in this state and country.The Teachers Unions have the Democrats especially here in Massachusetts by the gonads so to speak.When the Teachers Unions have a situation and complain about it it gets resolved such as at raise time when they don't deserve it.
Now something has the Teachers Unions panties in a knot and they are constantly whining about it.The word is CHARTER SCHOOLS.Charter Schools are schools in the public sector that get public $$ or our tax dollars and are run as a public school but with less bureaucracy such as NO TEACHER UNION involvement.
Here is a perfect example of what I am talking about in todays post on my blog.In our State Capitol for example in Boston that their city's charters have shown a vast vast improvement and even outperforming Boston's own district as well as pilot schools and EDUCATE a higher percentage of poor students (financially speaking) than district schools.All this according to a report by the Boston Foundation.
This psses off the teacher Unions to no end because they can't play politics with a Democrats favorite political pawn FOR THE CHILDREN.
Even our own politically plagued Gov.Deval Patrick (D-Ma) who of course is a huge ally of the teachers and their Socialist union made the lamest excuse as most left wingers to made the claim that Charter schools drain valuable resources from the district (failing to educate) schools even though he knows full well that both the charter and district schools receive the same exact amount of $$ per student.
Once the Teachers Unions and their liberal political connections to the Democrats in Massachusetts as well as in Washington D.C. come to realize that EDUCATING THE CHILDREN is the most important job that they have to do instead of worrying about their little pay raises and other things maybe the Public Schools will out perform the Charter Schools.But I don't see that happening anytime soon.
