American Conservative Perspective

Democrats need to give up on US Attorney Firings

Whats doesn't the Democrats understand in the US House and Senate about the US Attorney firings by the Bush Administration. These lawyers serve at the pleasure of the President.Clinton fired all 93 US Attorneys back in the mid point of his second four years. The House and Senate then said nothing about it.
Whether it means that the Democrats continue to go after Karl Rove or anyone else for that matter in Bush's Administration this head hunting by the liberals is not what they told the American people that they were about during the last election. It was supposed to be about working with the Administration to get things moving for this nation.
This is not bipartisanship.this is a scam game by these liberal hacks in Washington D.C.We deserve better as voters no matter what party one may be a member of.

Sharpton and Jackson Need To Apologize

I can understand the controversy about the unwarranted comments made by Don Imus in reference to the Rutgers Womans basketball team, using race based terms such as Imus did is never the smart thing to do.
But there is some hypocrisy out there and from the usual race baiting subjects who claim to carry the banner for civil rights.
I speak of none other than the so called Rev's.Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.Going back now over a year now since the Duke University Lacrosse case was in the news it seems daily I remember both Sharpton and Jackson coming out as did many liberals on the left ready to condemn David Evans,Reade Seligmann and Colin Finnerty the three Duke players who were cleared this past week of the charges brought against them.
Now in the name of justice and honesty not in the name of racial diversity since Imus apologized to the lady Rutgers team both Sharpton and Jackson need to apologize to the Duke players for them condemning them in the court of Public opinion but I won't hold my breath.

Duke Lacrosse Players Names Cleared Finally

Well its about time that something positive and an outcome that most Americans (despite the over zealous liberal media) knew eventually would happen.
This case itself was a line that should have never been crossed by a politically and racially motivated North Carolina DA of Durham County Michael Nifong in a county that has a high population of Black Americans and as one would guess votes mainly liberal Democrat. In fact Nifong was elected due to this case as the new Durham County DA.
The three gentlemen Colin Finnerty,Reade Seligmann and David Evans have claimed that they are innocent of the charges since the begining.
It is also ironic that the rest of the media have failed to mention the name of the so called victim or accuser her name Crystal Gail Mangum a Black woman.Only Fox News came out with her name and the rest of the media where are they.
Not only should these three gentlemen sue the state of North Carolina along with Nifong but also this lying little dirt bag and race has nothing to do with it.

Massachusetts Unemployment rate Higher than National Average

It is time for Gov.Deval Patrick (D-Ma)to come off of his high horse, get with the legislature and quit taking helicopter rides with the State police as well as riding in his Cadillac DeVille and do something about the rising unemployment rates in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has been in office 100 days now and what has he accomplished.Other than create negative headlines throughout the media for his new Administration and continue to make Massachusetts less competitive on the national level.
I as well as my fellow conservative bloggers from the Bay state knew that this was going to happen but not this soon to a Patrick Administration.
Well my friends this is just the first 100 days now past of 4 years to go.Remember the days of former Gov.Michael S.Dukakis it will be three times maybe even four times as worse for the economy.

Iranian Leader Pushes To the Brink

As this blog has stated before that UN sanctions on any country like Iran will not work they just continue to literally thumb their nose at the World Body over at the United Nations in reference to Iran seeking to be a Nuclear power.
Today it has been reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad stated that Iran will keep on pressing towards nuclear power by using the centrifuges and nuclear power rods to start up a Nuclear power plant. But common sense is that they want the power to build a nuclear weapon, this along with Ahmedinejad threatening to wipe the nation of Israel off of the map is a not good news to say the least.
This was the same path that lead to the down fall of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein the same could very well happen to Ahmedinejad
and the Mullahs in the Government of Iran.
