 Race Hurts Obama

The fixation of race continues to plague the Democrats running for President especially Sen.Barrack Obama.Just yesterday in an interview on a radio talk show Obama threw his grandmother under the bus by calling her "A typical White woman".Not only did he do it then he also did it during the speech he gave about separating himself from his racist pastor one so called Rev.Jeremiah Wright when he said that "I could not disavow his love of his pastor as his love for his White grandmother.
Yes it was the Clinton campaign that brought up the issue of race during the South Carolina primary when
Obama defeated Sen.Hillary Clinton but for Obama to bring it up shows clearly as a cloudless sky that he is not an advocate for change that he claims to be.Nothing but the same old politics as usual for these Democrats who want to become Commander in Chief.

 DNC To Blame

It looks like the states of Michigan and Florida won't have their delegates counted at the Democrat National Convention after all. Both states moved up their primary voting dates to earlier this year.So what does the holier than thou Democrat National Committee do they say that the delegates won't count.
And the left wants to blame Republicans for disenfranchisement! This is ultra hypocrisy.
It hurts both Clinton and Obama but I dont care Im a Conservative anyway.

 Obama Blew It

Well earlier today Democrat candidate for President US Sen.Barrack Obama (D-Ill) had a golden opportunity to put the controversy about his pastor in his Chicago church behind him refering to the recent comments of race and anti-Americanism brought forth by the so called Rev.Jeremiah Wright.
Obama only said that there are some political idealology differences between him and his Pastor.Instead of disavowing his Pastor and breaking off any connection to him he said in his speech that he loves his pastor and would never disavow him.Obama also went as far as to say "Rev.Wright treated him as if he were family."
Now there will be major political fallout from this I predict. It may even cost Obama the Democrat Presidential Nomination.
The Democrat Party has no one to blame but themselves on this one always having a major fixation with race in America.

NYT Supports Wrong Side Of Economy

Todays led OPED (Through Bush Colored Glasses)in the New York Times signifies how they support Congresses assertion that the Bush administration is wrong when it comes to the economy.
Yes we are in bad economic times largely due to the housing crisis and people who can't afford them but we all know that the reason why the NYT supports Congress on this issue because not only is the House and Senate controlled by the Democrats but the liberals would raise taxes on everyone and use the economy as an excuse to raise them.
If Bush has ignored or not admitted to down times with the economy then why did he initiate and signed the "Economic Stimulus Package" and Yes along with Congress (it took the Senate a while to pass its own version of course) to help boost the economy.Along with the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates as they have also to boost the economy.
We as a nation have gone through worse times as far as the economy is concerned. What the media needs to report is positive (not the usual liberal biased anti Bush coverage)news that the markets will pick up and the economy will heal itself as it always does.
But going the usual Washington way as the Democrats would have us do is absurd via raising taxes.
What Congress needs to do and it would not hurt if the Presumptive GOP Presidential nominee Sen.John McCain mentioned this to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. Thus giving the slumping economy the biggest shot in the arm to get up and running once again.

5th Anniversary of Invasion of Iraq

This week marks a very important time in our nations history and a personal one to me.Five years ago our nation invaded Iraq a nation who at the time was defiant as ever with it's evil al-Qaeda connected dictator Saddam Hussein still in power.
Despite all the failed United Nations sanctions (over 20 times) and the "No-fly zones" over Northern and the southern portions of Iraq and even the UN mandated food for oil program which Hussein syphoned the money for his own military build up and greed.
On a personal note I was part of the Coalition forces during the invasion of Iraq as a member of the US Army reserves and back in 1991 during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in the US Marine Corps 2nd Marine Division.
As we remember the 5th Anniversary of the invasion we need as a nation to recognize that we did the right thing and no matter what the left wing anti war movement would have us to believe.
President Bush only went by the intellegence that was left over from the prior failed administration under Bill Clinton.

God Bless America and Bless our Troops!
