Just this past week before Denver,Colorado Mayor John Hickenlooper
gave the State Of The City address he asked a jazz singer who has a wonderful and powerful voice to sing our national anthem "Star Spangled Banner" a black woman by the name of Rene Marie.
This is where the controversy behind this issue begins.Instead of singing the national anthem she took it upon herself to sing a song supposedly known as the "Black National anthem" a song entitled "Well Lift,Ev'ry Voice and Sing."Not only was this embarrassing to the country but to the great city of Denver as well because it is hosting this years Democrat National Convention.Even the Mayor made the comment that "Marie's actions showed a lack of understanding about the power of patriotic symbols.Even Barrack Obama made the comments that it was wrong of her to do so as well.
Marie made the outlandish claim to the Rocky Mountain News (July 4,2008 edition can be found online at RockyMountainNews.com) that " she is apolitical,choosing to address social issues through my art not politics."
Talk about double talk because as this story grew and gained national attention she also made the the claim that "she wanted to show America what it was like to live here as a Black woman."
Well Ms.Marie you made it a political issue and don't feed us the crap that you are apolitical give me a break.You went against the Mayor of your community who asked you to honor America and the City of Denver,instead you brought shame.After all isn't it Black liberal people (along with the rest of the hypocritical liberal leftists in the Democrat Party) who claim that they believe in diversity, as well as tolerance and preach it on their little soap boxes.So much for tolerance and diversity from Marie,it's all about her she has what myself as well as many call the "I I I" syndrome.It's called self-centeredness/self righteousness.
The truth be told had this been a white person at a multicultural event singing a song other than what that certain person was asked to sing he/she would be slandered through out the lamestream media and labeled as a racist.This is just another case of a person of color using their race as an excuse to show their true intentions.

Talk about being out of touch with reality with the rest of the world.With his piece in this mornings New York Times "Rove's Third Term" OPED columnist Paul Krugman goes into typical liberal attack mode in the opening "Al Gore never claimed that he invented the internet.Howard Dean didn't scream.Hillary Clinton didn't say she was staying in the race because Barrack Obama might be assassinated.And Wesley Clark didn't impugn John McCain's military service.Again and again we've had media firestorms over supposedly revealing incidents that actually never took place."
Before I go on Hey Krugman you have been drinking from the liberal Kool Aid a little too long you have become delusional no wait it's just the usual bias I understand that this is a reoccuring theme with idiots like you.To make the claim that the aforementioned events never took place is insulting to alot of people's intelligence.
Now it seems that Krugman is carrying the water for the Obama camp even more with comments to the fact (something Krugman wouldn't know about) "Contrary to the myth of the modest Maverick, he talks about all the time."Excuse me Mr.Krugman just a little reminder again this has to deal with facts so listen closely Who coined the phrase (Coined to you liberals and Mr.Krugman means who came up with) time and time again "Maverick"? It was you freaks of nature at the NYT as well as the rest of the lamestream media.
This is just another reason why people who have a brain don't read the BS from the NYT if they can't find or make up news THATS FIT TO PRINT they distort the truth even through their own OPED writers.

I don't know about the rest of the country but the state where I reside here in Massachusetts is known throughout the nation as one of if not the most left leaning state.
Recently reported in both of the Boston newspapers that one of our State senators was charged with groping a woman in the city of Lowell where the Democrat Party held their state nominating convention.
State senator James Marzilli (D-Arlington) who was just elected to the State Senate who prior to his election served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives has had other complaints filed against him but of course this being a politically correct state and the district Attorney of Middlesex county (a Democrat himself) Gerard T.Leone made the claim that he didn't have enough evidence to charge Marzilli at the time.But now that this woman from Lowell came forward Marzilli has been indicted by a Middlesex Grand Jury finally.It's about time.Listening to the talk radio over the last few days those who would call from Sen.Marzilli's city of Arlington and his senate district have complained that the local media have done nothing but defend Marzilli to no end claiming that he was the victim.Typical liberal media in Massachusetts.
If the Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley (a Democrat herself) had any backbone herself she would investigate why charges were not brought forward by DA Leone to begin with on Marzilli.Sounds like a Democrat CYA.It should also be mentioned as well that before Coakley herself was the DA from Middlesex County before becoming AG.
There is also something called Gender Bias going on up here as well.A mother Kristen Anne LaBrie 36 of Salem,Massachusetts has recently been charged with Child Endangerment for failing to take proper care of her son 8 year old Jeremy Fraser who had been fighting cancer sucessfully until she stopped giving him his medications and for some odd reason cancelled all of his medical appointments.LaBrie also has a history of Domestic problems and is has a history of being involved with the DSS (Department of Social Services.Despite Ms.LaBrie's past problems a judge let her go on personal recognizance.This woman should have been put in prison had this been a male this would have been totally different.
Well that is liberal Massachusetts for you.

For the Obama campaign to do what it did against John McCain and his campaign this week is deplorable.I speak of the comments made by Obama campaign military advisor General Wesley Clark in reference to Sen.McCain's command experience while serving our country honorably
in the US Navy in Vietnam as a fighter pilot.
Clark comments were as follows "Just because McCain was shot down over Vietnam doesnot qualify him to become President of the United States."These comments come from for one a military man himself (if you want to call him that).To me Clark is nothing but a big mouth like any other liberal out there.
Then to top it off Obama himself tried to separate himself from the comments made by Clark in true liberal fashion one of the oldest tricks in a political playbook.
For a candidate who constantly runs his mouth about CHANGE and ran in the Democrat primary on CHANGE the change is that there is none at all.OBAMA get a life!

My eyes this morning are not deceiving me.There is an actual OPED in this mornings New York Times,"More Waste Fraud and Abuse" is the title talk about being an ultra hypocrite.I know what you are thinking those three words in the title describe to a tee the relationship between the NYT (along with the lame stream leftist media) and the Democrat Party.
The OPED is about some Miami Beach arms dealer AEY is the arms dealer accused of pawning off millions of banned and decrepit Chinese made weapons cartridges via the US Army to supply the Afghan forces.
The Opinion piece starts off like this in true NYT/Democrat Party fashion"Representative Henry Waxman (D-Ca) recently asked the question for which WE WOULD also like an answer "How did a company run by a 21 year old president and a 25 year old former masseur get a sensitive $300 million contract to supply ammunition to Afghan forces?
Later in this waste of time piece it goes on to say something that is even more hypocritical than the title of the piece "The AEY fraud case followed a detailed investigation by the Times,which found the company scored the Afghan contract despite a record of failure and risky corner-cutting in a half-dozen other plum contracts."
First of all the NYT investigating anything comes in question never mind a detailed one at that.A detailed investigation to the NYT would be as follows how much can we bend and shape this story which we don't even know is the truth to fit our biased BS agenda to attack Conservatives and the GOP with.
Now on to U.S.Rep Henry Waxman (D-Ca) this is the same liberal law maker who chaired a House Committee (Waxman chairs the House Government and Oversight Committee)when the infamous Mitchell Report came out in reference to steroid and substance abuses in Major League Baseball which was :
1.)Waste because around the same time as the Mitchell Report came about the U.S.House should have been voting on the Wireless Surveillance Act to help track terrorist communications.
2.)Fraud mainly because anything that this liberal Congress has invesigated under the failed leadership of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) has been null and void.
3.)Abuse that the Government should let Major League Baseball govern itself.Why Does any branch of the Federal Government have to get involved in sports?
I have a suggestion to the NYT and Democrats in general before you attempt to investigate anything or report on an invesigation learn how to be objective and learn how to report the TRUTH God knows that you cannot do both.
