After being labeled the so called "Mr.Clean" when dealing corruption in New York State as Attorney General Gov.Elliot Spitzer had to apologize to the public and his family (he really apologized due to the fact that he got caught) while in Washington D.C. back on February 13,2008 he was nabbed via federal wiretapping sting of a prostitution ring or call girl business called the Emperor's Club VIP to the tune of $4,300 in cash. There have been the expected calls for his resignation from the media even suprisingly the NEW YORK TIMES who broke the story yesterday called for it as well. But in todays edition of the NYT it doesnot mention his party affiliation until 3/4 of the way through the story a Democrat of course.Talk about burying a bias part. At the end of the day hopefully New Yorkers will learn that Spitzer turned out to be a typical liberal HYPOCRITICAL DEMOCRAT not to be trusted.

Well the media and the liberals got what they wanted. With U.S.Sen.John McCain clinching the GOP Presidential Nomination (of course Conservatives hardly voted if they did for the former "Maverick" according to the media) McCain needs to shore up the Conservative base of the Republican party if he has a prayer for victory in the November election. The suggestion here at "My Political Opinion" is for him to pick a running mate who is strong with the Conservative base as well as being strong in the area of economics. I believe that Sen.McCain should pick former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney who before he was elected to the Executive office here in the Bay State was a Venture Capitalist and strong within the business community as executive at Bain Capital.Romney as McCain is pro-life on the issue of Abortion.Gov.Romney also did well in the primaries among Conservatives even though former Republican Arkansas Gov.Mike Huckabee a Pastor in the Southern Baptist Church tried to woo the Evangelical/Born Again Christian right of the GOP. As much as the nimrods in the liberal lamestream media thought that Romney being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints otherwise known as Mormons would hurt him they were as usual as their baloney filled polls were wrong big time.It actually helped him bring alot of the aforementioned Christian right to his side in the primaries. Although he is far from perfection (as most on the left think with their little college degrees are) Gov.Romney will be a perfect fit with McCain and show that the GOP is ready and willing to be united (not as the liberals love to kumbyah after a bruising primary battle) for the up and coming November election.

This is a conservatives dream come true. Two left wing socialist liberals going at each other in a primary battle for the Democrat parties Presidential nomination. Neither of these two will stand a chance against John McCain by the November election. The liberal lamestream media will keep up the heat on McCain to see if he will fold to their pressure. Back and forth Clinton and Obama are at each other like a UFC main event.Neither one of these two morons have that much experience to boot. Both want to bring our troops home from Iraq and claim that the policy of the US being over there is a failure.(Its ironic that neither one of these two will also not acknowlege the fact that the troop surge has worked and continues to do so.) By the time that the Democrat Convention comes around and if Obama or Clinton does not have enough delegates for the nomination the so called Super Delegates will decide the outcome of the nomination bad news for Obama because the current Democrat National Committee is made up of old Clintonites from the sordid past.Obama as expected will more than likely envoke the race card. So it doesnot look like we are going to see any kumbyah baloney from these two at the end of their nomination process.I know that I can only speak for myself but I'm sure that I am not the only one who feels this way.

It wasn't that long ago back when our state was run by Republican as Governor that the casino gambling issue was brought up to keep money from leaving Massachusetts south to the two major casinos in Connecticut the Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun at that time was a great idea.It still can be used in that fashion. But now that our state is run by a liberal Democrat Gov.Deval Patrick he wants to build a casino or two but for raising revenue which is a very bad idea.He also made the bold claim that these new casinos including the construction will create 30,000 new jobs in the Commonwealth.Even the liberal Boston Globe reported that that claim was way way off. Even our speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives House Speaker Rep.Salvatore Dimasi (D-Boston) wants to look further into the casino issue before adopting the Governors proposal to have any casino gambling brought to Massachusetts. I think that this should be a ballot question but like other ballot initiatives in this state goes it won't get the so called blessing of our elected hacks up on Beacon Hill.

There is an interesting story in todays edition of the Boston Sunday Herald entitled "Iraq war cost: $3 trillion plus" taken from the Bloomberg News service. Some left wing hack by the name of Joseph Stiglitz a former economic adviser to former President Clinton made the claim that it was more like $5 trillion which the US has spent on the war effort in Iraq alone. He also stated that "We were trying to make Americans understand how expensive this war was." Stiglitz also a professor (no surprise here) at well known liberal leaning Columbia University in New York made the outragous claim also a quote from the same story "Because we haven't raised taxes, because we've tried to pretend this war is for free we've been skimping on our treatment of veterans." Give me a break this hack liberal Joseph Stiglitz back in 2001 won the Nobel prize is using the idea that we didn't raise taxes to fund the war on terror and talk about spitting in ones face using our veterans (which I am one myself) in his liberal mindless agenda is disgusting to say the least but what should one expect from most liberals. Stiglitz needs to look into all the money that our Government has wasted over the years on the so called "Great Society" under President Lyndon Johnson in the early 1960's and the so called "War on Poverty."This guy Stiglitz wants to talk about how expensive this war in Iraq is when a typical liberal like him won't even acknowlege the trillions upon trillions of dollars on the failed socialistic policies of big Government programs to combat so called poverty and welfare programs. Give me a break people don't realize that if we spent the amount of money on the military that we have spent on these big government Communist liberal social programs our military would hardly have any casualities in combat due to upgrades in technology. But in order for the liberals such as the Democrats to stay in power they need to continue this class warfare crap all the time.
