I know that it was a week ago almost but its still fresh in alot of peoples minds what the NYT did to the presumed GOP Presidential nominee. Their hit piece last week on Sen.McCain alleged affair with a lobbyist 40 year old Vicki Iseman going back to 2000. The lamestream liberal media still doesnot get it do they. This shows their intentions along with their true colors.First they endorse Sen.McCain as the nominee for the GOP field of Presidential candidates then now that he has the field sewn up so to speak now the media goes negative on the phrase they coined McCain as "The Maverick." Again us here at My Political Opinion doesnot want to give the bloggers out there the feeling that I am carrying the water for Sen.McCain.I am not but with the two left wingers out there in Obama and Clinton who else is there to vote for. As I have posted at this blog before McCain will need to pick up a Conservative running mate to even have a chance at carrying the GOP heart and soul in the 2008 election for President. Where he is weak on is the issues concerning the economy.A good choice would be former GOP Presidential candidate and Massachusetts Gov.Mitt Romney a venture capitalist before he was Bay State Governor.Lets hope that he will do as he has been saying concerning the Bush tax cuts to make them permanent. On immigration McCain made the claim at the CPAC convention earlier this month that he has learned from the error of his ways concerning this hot button issue. He really has no choice our borders need to be secured. McCain needs to tone down the fact that while in the Senate he has reached across the political asile to work with Democrats on so called key issues. Bipartisanship is not always a good thing especially when it mostly means Republicans having to give up their core beliefs just to give into the liberal Democrats. We as American voters need to understand this as well.It is the moderates who claim to be Conservative Republicans who are destroying the very foundations of American Common sense which is Conservatism.

A message to those who will stay home this November and not vote for U.S.Sen John McCain (R-Az) I have a bone to pick with you all. I agree he's not the most conservative candidate out there but what do you want.I will hold my nose to vote for him. Do it for the good of the country. We dont need any liberal communitst leaders such as Obama or Clinton for that matter.

Is anyone surprised by the latest controversy surrounding the C-word being dropped on the "Today" show by Hanoi Jane Fonda.Had this been a Conservative like Michelle Mulkin or Ann Coulter the left wing womens groups would be protesting to no end.But in true liberal fashion Hanoi Jane is not held accountable by her cohorts in the lamestream media. This is where Political correctness rears its ugly head time and time again.I have checked the New York Times right after the comments were made nothing mentioned as usual. This no class or lack there of shows that todays culture is one sided on all the issues.Fonda tried to be hip as she stated after making her derogatory emphasis about the female private area. I don't expect an apology and even if she does it will only be half hearted.

The only way and I mean the only way that McCain will become President is for him to pick a CONSERVATIVE as a running mate. Not that I like to adhere to the polls but they are right in this aspect that thus far in this Presidential primary election season when CONSERVATIVES (the backbone of the Republican Party)have voted in the GOP primaries (now that Hunter and Thompson are out)the CONSERVATIVE vote didnot go for McCain it went to Mitt Romney who as of this past week at the CPAC convention in Washington D.C. backed out of the running for the GOP nomination. McCain I hate to say it needs a political reincarnation to win with us Conservatives. The media has already began to bash McCain this week stories from the AP have backed away from the Maverick label that they onced coined him as. In ending we need to remember that McCain only won when LIBERALS and so called independents crossed over to vote in states where voters could vote as they did in the GOP primaries.
