The whole point behind the Lewis Scooter Libby ordeal was to go after President Bush by the liberal left in this country.
Todays New York times lead editoral goes after the Bush administration on the false assumption made by former Ambassador Joe Wilson that Iraq under Saddam Hussein never sought out "yellow cake uranium" for the purpose of Nuclear weapons.The British Intelligence MI-5 proved that Hussein was indeed looking to buy weapons grade uranium from first the Congo and then Niger.
The Oped also went on to say that this Libby trial proved to a degree that the clearest evidence yet that the Bush administration did not get taken on faulty intelligence (old intelligence from the prior Clinton years) and that Bush cherry picked and hyped the intelligence to back the claim on the war.
Joe Wilson was the one who claimed that it was his wife a now known lie Ms.Valerie Plame a so called CIA agent who did work for the CIA but only as a regular worker that sent him to Niger to debunk the Bush and British proof of Iraqs actions in Niger.It was also Mr.Wilson who also (along with Richard Armitage at the Time Under Secretary of State under Colin Powell)who leaked the name of his wife Ms.Plame to columnist Robert Novak and not Scooter Libby.In fact the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation (yes to you liberals out there a bipartisan investigation)in reference to Wilson going over to Niger Wilson falsely claimed that Vice President Cheney was the one to send him at the recommendation of his wife to go to Niger.
The New York Times editorial board as usual needs to do it's homework
and better research before giving its opinion on todays current events.But reporting the truth has never been their strong points.

Well today the jury from the Scooter Libby trial with convictions on 4 out of 5 counts.
Count One-Obstruction of Justice of lying to the Grand jury of speaking with NBC reporter Tim Russert about Valerie Plame working at the CIA.
Count Two-False Statements to FBI about conversation with Russert about CIA/Plame working there
Count Three-Perjury to the Grand Jury about the Russert conversation about CIA/Plame working there.
Count Four-Perjury to Grand Jury about a conversation with Time Magazine reporter Matt Cooper that Libby had heard from reports that valerie Plame worked at the CIA.
This was nothing but a witch hunt from the start by a D.C. liberal jury out for blood with the lack of facts.For one thing as I posted on My Political Opinion back on January 27,2007 (see my posting from that date) Valerie Plame did work for the CIA but not as an agent or an operative as the media has lied about she was a regular employee that was it.

The comments made by Conservative Columnist Ann Coulter may have been out of line about former US Sen John Edwards (D-NC) calling him a "faggot" during the recent Conservative Political Action Conference.
The media went into a frenzy defending their good buddies on the left after this was made light of.
But as usual there are double standards the members of The Democrat Party and the far left are constantly always on the attack against the right on anything and everything because politics to the left is a religion to them.
What about the comments made by well known brain dead liberal not so funny comedian Bill Maher saying that "I'm just saying that if he (meaning Vice President Dick Cheney in reference to the foiled al-Qaeda assasination attempt while the Vice President was on a trip in Afghanistan) did die other people more people would live.That's a fact.Where is all the outrage from the media.This is ultra hypocrisy.Why isn't Howard Dean calling for Democrats to denounce Maher for his comments!This is liberalism America you voted for it not me.

I find it totally disgusting that public school teachers around the country think that it's their responsibility to teach children that same sex marriage is the moral equivalent of marriage between one man and one woman.
Parents are the right people to teach their own children not anyone else about morals after all we have seen in todays politically correct culture with the teaching of self esteem garbage to the outrage of bullies in schools.Back when I was a kid if there were bullies the bully got delt with by his own peers by getting his butt kicked in.
Children go to school to learn about Reading,writing and arithmetic. not that Suzy has two Mommies or Two Daddies.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad is the purest form of evil in the world wanting to wipe out the first Democracy in the middle east Israel.Every time he is mentioned in the media he is down played as mellow and small.But his reputation is growing in the Arab world as an anti western stalwart and leading anti Zionist Islamic leader.
As a student in the overthrow of the Shah of Iran's pro American Government in 1979 as what became known as the Islamic Revolution Ahmedinejad was a part of it with the Ayatollah Khemheni which led to the taking over of the US Embassy that same year thus causing a hostage crisis which was handled poorly by the Carter Administration.
This hard nosed world leader has already thumbed his nose at the United Nations in reference to Iran wanting to gain nuclear capabilities of enriching uranium which Tehran makes the claim that it wants it for peaceful purposes such as power and technology.But anyone with a bit of common sense knows what Tehran wants.
