Well the scharade games began today in the US House as Former CIA(Employee not Agent) Valerie Plame testified before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. She made the false claim that the White House out of pure politics compromised her cover and identity.
In part of her bogus testimony (this I am quoting is from the Washington Post account of Plame's testimony) in true liberal fashion Her employment "was not common knowledge on the Georgetown cocktail circuit" as she made in her opening salvo.Sounds self righteous if you ask me.She also went on to say that "But all of my efforts on behalf of the national security of the United States, all of my training, all the value of my years of service were abruptly ended when my name and identity were exposed irresponsibly."BOO WHOO

go and cry at you little cocktail gatherings.
Now shortly after Ms.Plame testified a woman and criminal defense lawyer Victoria Toensing stated that Plame "was not a covert agent" under the definitions of the 1982 Intelligence Protection Act.It was Ms.Toensing who helped draft the federal law to protect the identities of certain undercover intelligence agents.
