 Nuclear Power Most cost effective

It has not been done for close to thirty years now since the last Nuclear power plant went on line in this country.President Carter and his liberal jaugernauts tried to stop it altogether from being a reality back in the late 1970s as far as Nuclear power production is concerned.Even today the very liberals who complain about our dependence on foreign sources of energy and power don't want nuclear power due to it's cost effectiveness and its impact on the environment. They also think that Nuclear power plants will someday serve as an intended target for al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups.
What do the left in this country have for their version of alternative energy or other sources? It is the big controversy about ethanol a fuel extracted from corn.Which is as most things that the Democrats and their cohorts on the left endorse ethanol extraction from corn can be done but it will cost as much if not more to produce it.thus not making it cost effective.
There is no excuse for the liberal left not to come across the political asile in true bipartisan fashion and learn how Nuclear Power can be used along with great technological advances to better our way of life.

 Americans need to wake up

The old saying that goes back generations that partisanship ends at the waters edge. That is long gone due to the liberal partisanship that has bitten members of the US Senate and US house by voting on a measure by supporting the troops with their mouth but in action they are just typical spineless bureaucrats. We need to win in Iraq and the war on terror period.

Bank Of America Should Be Put out of Business

This story was just making its way to the Foxnews.com web site as I was checking out Fox as I always do.Apparently Bank Of America wants to start giving illegal immigrants mostly those who are of the hispanic orgin but the story went onto say that the cards will be open to them that don't have social security numbers and no credit history according to Bank of America and the Wall Street Journal as long as they have held a checking account with the Bank for three months without an overdraft."CHA CHING" for them $$$$!!!!!!!!!!!
The report also went on to say that the bank has already tested the program last year at some of their branches in the Los Angeles and just last week expanded it to 51 Branches in the whole Los Angeles county which is home to the largest concentration of illegal immigrants in the U.S.
And guess what as usual when Fox News tried to reach the spokesman for the Bank of America that person was not immediately available for comment.
Not only is this a terrible idea but it will affect all of the members of that Bank if these illegal immigrants don't pay up on these cards. In the long run it will have major impacts on the economy of our nation.
Where is the U.S. Better Business Bureau on this situation before it gets worse? This is political correctness run totally amok.
This is one of the few times that I am for Government intervention where this Bank needs to be held accountable big time for preventitive measures.

Well Add Obama To the List

Another liberal member of the US Senate has tossed his hat into the ring for his parties 2008 Presidential nomination. One US Sen.Barrack Obama (D-Ill) a thus far one term US Senator still wet behind the ears as far as politics is concerned in Washington.
A question comes to mind did this not happen already to former US Sen
John Edwards (D-NC) back in 2004 he eventually became the running mate of 2004 Democrat Party nominee US Sen.John F.Kerry (D-MA) who once again has his bid in for the nomination of Democrat party in 2008.
Sen.Obama is an attractive candidate for the Democrats if you remember the recent comments made by US.Sen Joe Biden (D-Del) also running for the Democrat nod that he made in reference to Obama.
It will be quite interesting to see who tries to out liberal each other on the Democrat Parties nomination process heats up.

 Comparison Not Needed

The lead editorial in this mornings New York Times T.R.? He's No T.R.
is divisive and irrelevant.Comparing the thus far the environmental record of President George W.Bush to that of President Theodore Roosevelt is like comparing a banana to an orange.
Roosevelt was President over 100 years ago when America was obviously back then not as technologically advanced as we are today when we need more resources to improve not only technology but how we live and maintain our lives today in this fast paced society.
The New York Times went on to make the bogus claim that Roosevelt would never push for drilling up in what is called the ANWR (Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge) the New York Times mistakenly called it the Artic National Wildlife Refuge.
I consantly hear from the politicians both left and right about getting off the dependence of foreign oil I agree totally but with the liberals and their buddies at the New York Times caring more about the so called environmental issues and creating alternatives to our oil and gas consumption by using ethanol which is fuel extracted from corn is too costly it would cost as much to produce it meaning ethanol as it is to use it.This makes one wonder where is the common sense at the New York Times for supporting such lack of common sense as far as the economic impact that using ethanol would have.
So in ending the New York Times attack in its oped today on Bush shows that no matter what Bush does as far as the environment is concerned because he for example cut spending on the Land and Water Conservation fund at it's Clinton authorized level of $900 million (which is frivolously spent) down to a more senseible level of $85 million this year.
