Talk about big liberal Government intervention this one takes the cake.A Democrat Assembly member in the State of California (no surprise) Sally Lieber is about to bring forth legislation that if parents spank their children as a form of discipline those parents could face a fine and jail time.
The reason that Lieber gave for the proposal was "Such a law is needed because spanking victimizes helpless children and breeds violence in society."She also went on to say that"I think it's pretty hard to argue you need to beat a child."
First of all it has been reported that this woman doesn't even have children so it's easy for her to run her mouth when she's not even a parent.Second she's one of these PC police types that want to enforce big government on eveyone.
I have disciplined my two boys and yes spanking does work I never had to beat them.There's a difference between abusing a child and spanking them.
For all you liberals out there who believe that it hurts a childs self esteem well think again and get a life while you are at it.

Believe it or not the Conservative movement in this country seems as if it has eroded away after the passing of the greatest President in American history President Ronald Wilson Reagan.
The spirit of Conservatism has been kept alive via talk radio with the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Matt Drudge to Michael Savage.
Alot of reasons why there has been trouble advancing the movement is due to the fact that a good portion of Republican politicians who claim to stand for Conservative philosophy but cave in to the left wing and their cohorts in the liberal media.These people are called RINO or (Republican In Name Only) for example former New York City Mayor Rudy Giulianni to US Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).
As a motivational point lets keep our noses to the grindstone my fellow bloggers and stand up for our Principals that keep our country strong.

Everyone from the laimstream media to the politicians in Washington
mostly Democrats and surprisingly a few moderate Republicans here and there have been dead set against sending more troops to Iraq.The liberals want to listen to polls and pundits.President Bush as Commander-in-Chief knows what he is doing.But there needs to be a surge of troops from the Coalition nations beside Americans.
The Iraq Study Group released its crazy recommendations to the President last month.Some around the country call it the Iraq Surrender Group by good reason for example not only by who was on this so called Study Group which most of them not having any military experience at all but for wanting the United States to set up diplomatic avenues with other countries in the region such as Iran and Syria both of whom support terrorists and their groups like Hezbollah otherwise called the Party Of God.
Another point to be made is the fact that the Democrat controlled House and Senate have threatened to cut funding to our military as far Iraq is concerned.The liberals did this type of poltitcal grandstanding back in the 1990's under a poor excuse for a President when they had the chance under the Clinton Administration.

What don't the politicians up on Captiol Hill understand about the Stem cell debate.The leftists in the Democrat Party keep pushing the idea that the "Embryonic" Stem Cell Research.Which is totally unethical.That this process is creating life to use for medical treatments is out of line and absurd.
There are plenty of research that can be done with adult stem cells or stem cells from the placenta after a baby is born to use for research.
Lord willing we can use stem cells in an ethical way with out playing God let's leave that up to the Lord Almighty and not us down here.
